What Is Collaborative Care?

The Island Cancer Center oncology team, led by our Radiation Oncologist, uses radiation therapy for cancer. A comprehensive cancer treatment program may include surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. Each patient's treatment plan will differ.

Island Cancer Center works with all cancer care specialists on Guam and the broader medical community to collaboratively provide each patient with the best cancer care.

Island Cancer Center is also an active participant in supporting ways to reduce the burden of cancer and eliminate gaps in cancer services in Guam, such as the Guam Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition, American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Get Healthy Guam Coalition, and more.
